What is a Domain Transfer Print

A Domain Transfer is where the management of a domain name is transferred from under one registrar to another. Your website, email and any services connected to your domain name will NOT be interrupted, as a registrar is only responsible for your domain record management.

In order to start a Domain Transfer, you will need your own domain, and its authentication code (EPP or UDAI transfer code) from the old registrar. You will also need to remove the Domain Lock that may have been placed on the domain you wish to transfer.

From our client portal, you can retrieve the EPP/UDAI code needed to transfer your domain to a new registrar.

When registering a domain name through us, all domain names are locked, you will need to disable this feature before requesting the EPP/UDAI code.

This can be done by navigating to navigating to Domains > My Domains

Select the Domain you want to unlock and then select from the menu, Registrar Lock Status

Then click Disable Registrar Lock

Go back to Domains > My Domains clicking on the domain, and then clicking on Get EPP Code.

The EPP/UDAI code will automatically be sent the domain registrant email address.
